PopUpCop New Addition Tired of annoying browser popups? I found this little browser add-on to be very useful. It does not block all advertisements; it blocks irritating web site behavior that is often used for advertisements. It monitors your interaction with the browser to determine what new windows to block based on a simple collection of rules. It can block images, Java applets, ActiveX controls, JavaScript, Flash, and many other potentially annoying techniques. A small toolbar in your browser allows you to configure its behavior.

Star Wars Official Web Site The official Star Wars web site!

Full of fascinating information about the Star Wars movies, including behind the scenes images and expanded story information.


Babylon 5 In case you haven't seen it, Babylon 5 is a great science fiction series that I think is as well done as Star Trek. The characters are richly developed, the stories cover a wide spectrum of topics, the environment is distinctive, and the special effects are great.

This site contains just about everything you would ever want to know about the series; including very detailed and maintained episode information.


Star Trek Continuum The official Star Trek site from Paramount. It contains links to episodes, movies, and more.

This site is hosted by the Microsoft Network and requires registration to access.

Deviant Art - Where art meets application Looking for great wallpaper? Provides a central location for graphical artists to display their creations for feedback and exposure. With an emphasis on digital works as pieces of art rather than desktop eye candy, the community has grown rapidly. Hosts poetry, photography, and flash exhibits, as well as an enormous Indyart and wallpaper sections and skins for 105 applications..

Discreet 3D Studio Max Creators of 3D Studio Max...a great product to create great looking 3D computer graphics on the PC.

Macromedia Macromedia has developed great browser plug-ins, including Shockwave and Flash. These plug-ins allows developers to create interactive content for inclusion in a World Wide Web page. They are now installed as part of most browser installations.

If you create web sites, you can also look into their Dreamweaver product.

This site contains the latest plug-in that you can download, as well as several sample pages that you can interact with.

HTMLSource HTML Information and Tutorials. A great source of information on designing great web sites. Contains info on css, xhtml, and more.

GotDotNet Working with .NET? I am a convert and if you haven't looked into it, you should. This is one of many sites dedicated to the technology.

The JavaScript Source Looking for some useful or neat java scripts to spice up your web site? This web site will save developers hours of time with easy-to-follow tutorials and working samples.
